TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A community partnership will help people in need keep cool as the summer season continues. The Duke Energy Foundation recently presented the United Way of the Wabash Valley with a $10,000 dollar grant. The funds were used to purchase box fans from Lowe's for local people in need. The fans will go toward three organizations, Reach Services, Manna from 7, and the West Vigo Community Center and those groups will distribute the fans to their consumers who are most in need.
